Morgan + Corey – Engagement Photography – Old Cowtown Museum in Wichita, Kansas

I can’t remember the last time I laughed so much in one photography session. Morgan and Corey are such a fun couple, and Corey kept us all entertained with his jokes and his “model” poses! Morgan’s style for her upcoming wedding is a rustic barn theme, so she wanted something similar for her engagement photography. We searched around for just the right place and decided on Old Cowtown Museum in Wichita, Kansas. There are so many different styles and types of buildings there, and the colors and materials on the buildings gave us a variety of backgrounds. It ended up being a perfect fit for their session.

We also included their adorable son in many of the photos, and his expressions and smiles as he wandered around the museum were priceless. He loves to tell knock-knock jokes, and that also kept everyone smiling and laughing throughout the session.

As I work with each couple for wedding and engagement photography, I enjoy seeing the ways in which each couple fits together. Some couples are really similar and others complement each other, and it’s neat to see how each couple works together especially with planning a wedding. Morgan and Corey are such a great fit with each other, and it’s easy to see how their personalities complement in a way that makes for a beautiful relationship. As Morgan is busy putting all of the details together for the wedding and making it a perfect day to celebrate who they are as a couple, Corey does an amazing job of keeping her laughing and taking the stress away that planning a wedding can provide. Corey makes Morgan laugh in such a genuine, heartfelt way that is rare to see. They are not only in love, but they are also friends and seem to simply enjoy being and tackling life together.

Being there throughout Morgan and Corey’s wedding planning has been so much fun, and I absolutely love the ideas that they are putting together for their wedding. Each touch is a perfect fit for them and who they are as a couple. I can’t wait to see all of the details pulled together for their rustic barn wedding this Fall!
