Valerie + Kade – Wedding Photography – Kingman, Kansas

This was such a fun wedding on a beautiful day! The weather was surprisingly cool for a Wichita wedding in late May, but it ended up being perfect. After meeting with Valerie and Kade for the first time at their consultation, I knew I would love working with them. They wanted their wedding day to be fun yet meaningful, and their real excitement was about their marriage and starting their lives together. In each photo I took of them on their wedding day, you can see the love they have for each other in their expressions. They seem to just enjoy being and laughing together.

One of my favorite parts about being a wedding photographer is capturing the simple moments and expressions between couples on such an important day in their lives, and this wedding had so many of those great moments. One thing I noticed about Valerie and Kade is the strong connection they have with their families and community. Their wedding day was filled with people who love them and who had unique stories to tell about them. Although Valerie and Kade are opposites in a lot of ways, they have clearly had a strong, lasting impact on the people in their lives. I have no doubt those strong connections will be a great source of happiness for them in their marriage.

One relationship that stood out to me in particular is the one between Valerie and her dad. They have a fun, joking type of relationship that made the day light and fun. However, when it came to the more meaningful moments of her dad walking her down the aisle and the father-daughter dance, the strength of their relationship and connection really came through.

I had an amazing time working with Valerie and Kade throughout the planning of their wedding and especially on their big day. They complement each other in so many ways, and they make a great team. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to be part of their beautiful wedding, and I’m excited to see where their journey together takes them!
